Rotary Auditorium

Rotary Auditorium

Tucked away at the back of the library lies our largest event space, the Rotary Auditorium. This 2,260 sq. ft. room allows for a multitude of events as it provides a blank slate where users can set up tables and chairs as they’d like.

Capacity: up to 150 people seated auditorium style
Square Footage: 2,260 sq. ft.

This room can include: In-house sound system, 16x 8 ft. rectangular tables, 150x chairs, 2x projector and projector screen, 2x podiums with microphones, and 2 handheld wireless mics.

This space is rented by a 4 hour or an 8 hour time slot.

Note: Users do their own set up and tear down of the tables and chairs

Cost:
Half Day (up to 4 hours): $250
Full Day (up to 8 hours): $500

Non-profit rate:
Half Day (up to 4 hours): $125
Full Day (up to 8 hours): $250

Rotary A or B

CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

This option allows for our largest room, the Rotary Auditorium, to be divided into two smaller rooms. Tucked away at the back of the library, these half rooms allow for a multitude of events providing users with a blank slate to set up the tables and chairs as they’d like.

Note: The divider wall in this option is not fully soundproof

Capacity: up to 50-70 people seated auditorium style
Square footage: 1,130 sq. ft.

This room can include: In-house sound system, 8 ft. rectangular tables, chairs, projector and projector screen, podium with microphones, and 2 handheld wireless mics.

This space is rented by a 4 hour or an 8-hour time slot.

Full Day (up to 8 hours): $300

Full Day (up to 8 hours): $150  

AFTER HOUR EVENTS

Insurance
Any after-hour events at the library require liability insurance be purchased by the User. This can easily be applied for and purchased through PAL Canada.

Liquor licensing
With prior approval from the library, an after-hour event can have liquor served on the premises however, users must provide the proper liquor licensing. Contact our Event Services Coordinator for more details.

For those looking to host an event that is beyond the normal Library hours, the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre offers after-hour event space in the Rotary Auditorium. Click here to see the library hours. 

This booking includes: The Rotary Auditorium, Community Kitchen, Boulevard, and Back Terrace.
