FOX ROOM

This circular glass meeting room, located at the front of the library is 129 sq. ft., the perfect size for 4-6 people to meet, study, or have a private workspace.

Capacity: 6 people
Square Footage: 129 sq. ft.
What can be included? Portable TV, whiteboard.

Cost: $15 per hour, $100 for 8 hours
Non-profit rate: $10 per hour, $50 for 8 hours

LADY SLIPPER ROOM

This circular glass meeting room located at the front of the library is 194 sq. ft., the perfect size for a larger group of 6-8 people. This room is great for meetings, studying or to have a private workspace.

Capacity: 8 people
Square Footage: 194 sq. ft.
What can be included? Portable TV, whiteboard.

Cost: $15 per hour, $100 for 8 hours
Non-profit rate: $10 per hour, $50 for 8 hours

Blue Jay Room

Our board room located beside our Welcome Desk is a room that fits up to 10 people comfortably at a large board table. Included in this room is a kitchenette with sink and mini fridge, TV for screen sharing and a whiteboard. This room is perfect for meetings, video conferencing, interviews, etc.

Capacity: 10 people
Square Footage: 323 sq. ft.

Cost: $25 per hour, $150 for 8 hours
Non-profit rate: $15 per hour, $75 for 8 hours

Community Kitchen

This 431 sq. ft. room with large windows is perfect for those seeking a fully operational kitchen with extra meeting space attached. The entire space includes two 8 ft. tables, chairs, TV for screen sharing, dishwasher, a double sink and a single sink, Bosch oven and stovetop, microwave, fridge and a moveable island.

Capacity: up to 16 people in meeting space
Square Footage: 431 sq. ft.

Cost: $30 per hour
Non-profit rate: $20 per hour

If you do not require the entire space, the room can be divided in two with a curtain wall allowing for the Kitchen Room and Program Room to be booked separately.

*Please note there is no kitchenware (such as cutting board, knives, pots etc.) in the kitchen. Users must bring their own kitchenware.

Audio Studio A

Have you ever wanted an audio studio to record your podcasts, voice overs, or a video podcast? This space is set up as a podcasting studio, perfect for those looking for better sound quality than at home.

Our Audio Studio A includes 2 condenser microphones with popkillers, professional monitor headphones, a Zoom H6 Handy recorder, a Scarlett Audio Interface, green screen, iMac, two tables, and chairs.

**No open food or beverages are permitted in Audio Studio A

Capacity: 4 people
Square Footage: approximately 170 sq. ft.

Audio Studio B

For those looking for a quiet space to rehearse, compose or practice an instrument, our Audio Studio B is a soundproof room equipped with chairs and music stands. This room is free of charge on a first come, first serve basis.

Capacity: 4 people
Square Footage: approximately 100 sq. ft.

Cost: Free of charge on a first come first serve basis

Rotary Auditorium

Tucked away at the back of the library lies our largest event space, the Rotary Auditorium. This 2,260 sq. ft. room allows for a multitude of events as it provides a blank slate where users can set up tables and chairs as they’d like.

Capacity: up to 120 people seated auditorium style
Square Footage: 2,260 sq. ft.

This room includes: Wired or wireless mics, in-house sound system, 8 ft. rectangular tables, chairs, projector and projector screen. Podium can be made available upon request.

This space is rented by a 4 hour or an 8 hour time slot.

Note: Users do their own set up and tear down

Rotary A or B

Capacity: up to 120 people seated auditorium style
Square Footage: 2,260 sq. ft.

These rooms include: Wired or wireless mics, in-house sound system, 8 ft. rectangular tables, chairs, projector and projector screen. Podium can be made available upon request.

Square footage: 1,130 sq. ft.

After-Hour Rentals

For those looking for a later evening event in the privacy of a closed area of the library, the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre offers after-hour event space in the Rotary Auditorium. Click here to see the library hours.

After-Hour Package

This package can be added onto your after-hour event in the Rotary Auditorium. It includes the Back Terrace, Boulevard, and Community Kitchen.

Cost: $100
Non-profit rate: $50

i. Insurance
Any after-hour events at the library require a liability insurance purchased by the User. This can be easily applied for and purchased through PAL Canada.

ii. Liquor licensing
With prior approval from the library, an after-hour event can have liquor served on the premises however, users must provide the proper liquor licensing. Contact the Event Services Coordinator for more details.
