Our boardroom located beside our Welcome Desk is a room that fits up to 10 people comfortably at a large board table. Included in this room is a kitchenette with sink and mini fridge, TV for screen sharing and a whiteboard. This room is perfect for meetings, video conferencing, interviews, etc.

This 431 sq. ft. room with large windows is perfect for those seeking a fully operational kitchen with extra meeting space attached. The entire space includes two 8 ft. tables, chairs, TV for screen sharing, dishwasher, a double sink and a single sink, Bosch oven and stovetop, microwave, fridge and a moveable island.
Capacity: up to 16 people in meeting space

Cost: $30 per hour

If you do not require the entire space, the room can be divided in two with a curtain wall allowing for the Kitchen Room and Program Room to be booked separately.

Tucked away at the back of the library lies our largest event space, the Rotary Auditorium. This 2,260 sq. ft. room allows for a multitude of events as it provides a blank slate where users can set up tables and chairs as they’d like.

Square Footage: 2,260 sq. ft.
This room can include: In-house sound system, 16x 8 ft. rectangular tables, 150x chairs, 2x projector and projector screen, 2x podiums with microphones, and 2 handheld wireless mics.
This space is rented by a 4 hour or an 8 hour time slot.

AFTER HOUR EVENTS
Insurance
Any after-hour events at the library require liability insurance be purchased by the User. This can easily be applied for and purchased through PAL Canada.
Liquor licensing
With prior approval from the library, an after-hour event can have liquor served on the premises however, users must provide the proper liquor licensing. Contact our Event Services Coordinator for more details.
For those looking to host an event that is beyond the normal Library hours, the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre offers after-hour event space in the Rotary Auditorium. Click here to see the library hours.
